Preschool
Sending your child to a preschool class means you need to find the right environment. At International Montessori Schools Royersford, we have more than 10 years of experience in the field.
Have Questions?
If you have questions before enrolling, send us a message and our staff will respond shortly. We can discuss the program, your child's readiness, and what the day looks like. Our office is open weekdays. Families can also request references from the school. We are happy to schedule an appointment to talk through the options available to you and your child.
What this looks like in practice
A Montessori preschool day moves in long, unhurried blocks. Children choose work from open shelves: pouring, sorting, letter tracing, counting beads. A teacher sits beside a child to show a lesson, then steps back. The room holds mixed ages, so a younger child watches an older one and tries the same task. Snack and outdoor time break the morning. Parents see dirty knees and proud faces at pickup.
The practical gain shows up at home. A child who has practiced pouring a pitcher reaches for it at dinner. One who has folded cloths puts away laundry without being asked. Focus grows because the work was chosen, not assigned. Small failures are allowed, then tried again. Over months, a parent notices fewer meltdowns and more words used to ask for help.
